There front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast options were great, however the staff did not keep the food filled. I heard at least 3 people ask if they were bringing more out and they were ignored, and we literally waited well over 30 minutes for the gravy to be restocked before finally leaving without getting the gravy. Not restocking the potatoes or sausage. They restocked the biscuits and the milk. All while the employees were standing at the entrance to the kitchen ignoring the requests of the people coming in for breakfast asking them if they were going to restock the food. The gravy literally never got refilled and sat empty during our entire breakfast. We have stayed here before and loved it, especially the breakfast. We tipped the serving staff last time and specifically brought cash to tip them again on this trip. Needless to say we kept our tip money. The staff was not efficient or attentive at all to the requests made by many guests, and they made many trips out to the buffet bar seeing the empty dishes and failed to refill the food. They just stood there watching people and chatting and ignoring the people who asked if they were bringing out more food to replenish the completely empty containers. We had such a great experience on our trip here last year we did not hesitate to book it again. Also, the hot tub was absolutely filthy. A gross film floating on the top and throughout the water is was truly disgusting. The pool was not much better.

Numerous fix-up jobs needed to happen in the room and in the lobby and hallways.
