No need to pay for a superior room. They don’t match with the photos, the extra space is wasted on a loooonnngg corridor, and all uou get is low quality coffee and tea in paper cups as opposed to a standard room

The room was super, with only one issue that is easy to solve. The beds have feet that every time you move you can hear squeaking over the floor. Not just in your room, you can hear the beds above and on both sides, simple solution is for them to put rubber feet on the beds. My main complaint is the breakfast voucher, I paid 5 euros and then tried to order the iced late, to be told the only option was hot coffee, this and the pastry came to the advertised price in the cafe of 4E80, so felt ripped off, even 20 cents. Just cross the road and get a pan con tomate with cafe con leech from the 2 breakfast places in the arcade in front. Better value and Moore authentic.

Very central location, yet quiet enough not to be disturbed at night. Lovely clean room with very comfortable bed and soft sheets. Large fluffy towels was a touch of luxury. Amazing rain shower with good pressure and hot water (note the shower and toilet were in a frosted glass cubicle so not an entirely separate room in case you are traveling with someone - I was alone and quite liked this set up). Downside is room was quite hot and I couldn't get the air conditioning to work (seemed to come out warm only, or turned on and off with a buzzing noise every 2 minutes which was annoying). Window let in some air though. Could do with a "do not disturb" card for the door to alert housekeeping that I was in the room
