The best part was the pet-friendliness and the welcoming staff. However, the certification for the elevator was expired and it took about 30 min to find a room where the electronic door opener worked or worked dependable. We had to move with dogs from the 2nd to the 3rd floor.

The only bright spot was the friendly young lady that checked us in. The lobby smelled, the bed springs popped and were noisy snd pokey, the tub ceiling was rusty, the shower stream was hard, the curtains were totally ripped, the desk chair was ripped and duct tapped, the towels were worn and thin and carpet was sticky. The bed linens were clean.

The ceiling in the lobby had a tile that was clearly full of black mold. While in our room 223 using the bathroom, someone in the room above us was flushing the toilet and the toilet contents were coming out of the wall onto our toilet. There was a hole in the wall that appears that has been like that for a while. We were able to switch rooms, but the sheets in the new room were stained, but appeared clean enough to use. This hotel is in some serious need of updates.
