This is a small hotel and the front desk has limited hours, but getting there late is not a problem. A quick call will give you the code that allows you to get your key from a secure slot. (If your German is not up to snuff, note that the code starts with a *, followed by four numerals, and then #.)

The hotel is very lovely, with comfortable beds and a great breakfast. The hotel personnel is very friendly and forthcoming. All museums of interest are walkable, and so are wonderful restaurants.

We arrived at 5:10 pm and no one was there. To get in we had to turn on our international phone service and spend $12 to make one call. An email had been sent while we were on the road, too late to be of any use. No elevator. Pillows were horrible. The room was soundproof so it was very quiet and we appreciated that. Room was clean, too. Breakfast was good. Easy to walk everywhere.
