We ended up liking this hotel, but there were pros and cons. First, it was affordable, even though it was Jazz Fest weekend. We were able to walk everywhere and there’s a Blue Bikes rack across the street. The pool was awesome. And the bed was comfortable. It’s a huge building, and the rooms are very large. They have marble floors with no rugs, so it’s kind of a cold and sparse feeling in the room. Our window overlooked the side of a building, so that didn’t help the vibe of the room. And, we had to call for things like a hairdryer and toilet paper and it would take a few calls or we would have to go get it ourselves. The woman at the front desk was really nice and so were the doormen. Overall, it wasn’t our favorite hotel but we would stay there again if the price was right.

The hotel has two great bars, but neither one is open or staffed. Valet is not timely, I had to get my own vehicle departing because the valet was not staffed. The pool is in need of maintenance.

Everything about this hotel and the staff was amazing. Spacious rooms, and clean. The hotel staff were very friendly. Will most definitely be returning to this hotel
